The TOURAL project was showcased at the event of 100% EU Funds on October 12, 2024, held in Zadar County, Croatia by ZADRA NOVA partners. The 100% EU Funds is an informative and educational event organized by the Ministry of Regional Development and European Union Funds in cooperation with the City of Zadar, Zadar County, the Zadar County Development Agency ZADRA NOVA, and numerous partners.
The event took place in Petar Zoranić Square in Zadar, where numerous projects implemented with European funds, as well as the institutions that successfully planned and implemented them, were presented. High-profile attendees included the Minister of Regional Development and European Union Funds Šime Erlić, Mayor Branko Dukić, and Prefect Božidar Longin, who all joined the meeting with citizens.
The event attracted thousands of citizens. Considering the great economic significance of tourism for the Zadar area, visitor interest in the project was notably high. In order to ensure the visibility of the project, environmentally friendly promotional materials such as notebooks made of recycled materials and a floating key chain were created. These items were distributed during the public event, providing interested citizens with permanent memories of the TOURAL project. Additionally, a project roll-up banner that will be used at other public events was also unveiled. The banner contains information about the project and a QR code with links to additional information about the project and social networks.
The successful presentation of the TOURAL project highlighted the innovative approaches being undertaken within the Zadar area but also reinforced the importance of sustainable tourism development supported by European funds. As we continue to engage the community and stakeholders, the TOURAL project remains committed to enhancing tourism experiences while promoting environmental sustainability and economic growth
