On February 8th and 9th, 2025, the TOURAL project, spearheaded by Angelos Manglis from Atlantis Consulting, was featured at the Thyrea Living Lab in Xiropigado, Kynouria. This event marked a collaborative effort under the GOV4ALL Eu project, involving key partners like Meraki People, the Academy of Entrepreneurship, the Agricultural Olive Oil Cooperative of Doliana, New Agriculture New Generation, the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, and Afforest for Future.
The Living Lab hosted two workshops centered on “Mapping People, Land, and Challenges in Northern Kynouria.” These sessions aimed to foster a rich exchange of experiences and enhance collaboration between academic insights and field best practices, with the goal of scaling these strategies nationally. The workshops served as an excellent platform for discussions on systemic transformation in agricultural land management and strengthening community ties with innovation ecosystems.
During the first day, Angelos Manglis presented TOURAL, emphasizing its use of creative and cultural tourism for sustainable development in rural areas. He highlighted TOURAL’s detailed strategy for co-creating business models and tourism products, accompanied by strategic planning and business development through integrated value chains. This initiative covers diverse regions across the Adriatic-Ionian and Black Seas—including Greece, Italy, Croatia, Bulgaria, Romania, and Ukraine.
TOURAL’s participation in the Thyrea Living Lab highlighted the profound synergy between the GOV4ALL and TOURAL projects, illustrating their combined potential to promote sustainable models in agriculture and tourism.
