The TOURAL project was presented at the VI International Scientific, Professional and Artistic Conference – Young Scientists in Dialogue, held on June 5–6, 2025, at the Varaždin University Center.
Representatives from the Zadar County Development Agency ZADRA NOVA participated in the conference. During the event, a scientific poster presentation was delivered, analyzing the role of EU-funded projects as communication tools for the European Union. The presentation focused on a practical case study: the TOURAL project.
The conference was organized by the University North, and co-organized by the Doctoral School and the Faculty of Philosophy of the Josip Juraj Strossmayer University in Osijek, the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Mostar, and the Academy of Arts and Culture in Osijek.
The event brought together young researchers and scientists from a variety of academic fields across Croatia and the wider region, with the goal of promoting scientific dialogue, networking, and the exchange of knowledge and experiences.
The research presented will be conducted using the desk research method, based on a review of relevant literature and publicly available data. The findings will inform conclusions and generate recommendations for future research. The complete scientific paper is expected to be published in the conference proceedings in 2026.
The mission of the conference is to encourage young researchers to engage actively in the scientific community—through dialogue, collaboration, and the exchange of ideas, experiences, and challenges encountered in their academic development.
The program included both oral and poster sessions, where young scientists had the opportunity to present their research results and engage in discussions with colleagues and mentors.
The sixth edition of the conference reaffirmed the importance of such gatherings, which foster dialogue and mutual exchange on key issues, contribute to personal and professional growth, and strengthen the academic community while promoting a culture of science among young researchers.
Conference participants expressed interest in the TOURAL project, particularly in its expected results and objectives.
