The TOURAL project was present at the RECIRCLE Info Day held on 23 October 2025 in the Atrium of the Governor’s Palace in Zadar. The event was organized by the Zadar County Development Agency ZADRA NOVA, a key partner of the TOURAL consortium.
The RECIRCLE Info Day brought together more than 100 participants, including representatives of public institutions, educational organizations, local authorities, and citizens interested in sustainable waste management and circular economy practices. Throughout the day, the organizer presented the goals, activities and expected results of the RECIRCLE project, which focuses on strengthening waste management systems by promoting circular and resource-efficient principles such as separate waste collection, recycling, and material reuse.
A special highlight of the event was the children’s art exhibition “This Is How I Recycle,” featuring 97 artworks created by kindergarten and primary school students from Zadar, Ražanac, Galovac, Tkon, Zemunik Donji and Pridraga. The exhibition attracted significant interest from visitors and demonstrated the strong environmental awareness and creativity of the youngest participants.
During the event, several EU-funded projects implemented by ZADRA NOVA were also showcased, including EUROPE DIRECT Zadar, APOLLO, FutureECOS, TOURAL, AdriaClimPlus, ECOFOODCYCLE and ADCCAM2ZERO. Although no dedicated TOURAL presentation was delivered, the project was represented among the key initiatives contributing to sustainability and regional development.
The event offered meaningful visibility for TOURAL and further strengthened local engagement in sustainability and circular economic actions
