The 4th TOURAL General Assembly in Teramo, Italy

From 19 to 21 May 2026, TOURAL project partners gathered in the Province of Teramo, Italy, for the project’s 4th General Assembly, hosted by the Italian pilot site partners in the city of Pineto. The meeting brought together consortium members both onsite and online to review project progress, coordinate upcoming activities, and discuss the next steps toward the project’s validation phase.

Over the course of the three-day meeting, partners exchanged updates across all Work Packages, focusing on pilot implementation progress, sustainability assessments, business modelling activities, ICT tools development, dissemination actions, and KPI monitoring. Special attention was given to the project’s final validation strategy, replication roadmap development, and stakeholder engagement activities that will support the long-term sustainability and transferability of TOURAL results.

A dedicated trans-national training workshop was also organised within the framework of the General Assembly, focusing on the TOURAL business modelling activities and stakeholder engagement processes. The workshop brought together project partners, local Italian stakeholders, and regional representatives to discuss the project’s UCCST verticals and operational enablers, the main features of the General Business Model, and the tools supporting business model individualisation. The session also explored the next steps of the co-creation and implementation process, reinforcing collaboration among partners and supporting knowledge exchange across pilot regions, with a special focus on the Italian pilot site.

The meeting concluded with a pilot site visit organised by the hosting partners, offering participants the opportunity to experience the local cultural and natural heritage context connected to the TOURAL pilot activities in the Teramo region, with a special visit to the local Knowledge Awareness Center.

The TOURAL consortium would like to warmly thank the Province of Teramo and all hosting partners for the excellent organisation and hospitality throughout the General Assembly.
